What is Conflict Revolution?

Conflict Revolution is a small business that provides mediation, facilitation and workshop services.

Conflict Revolution is a way of engaging with conflict that embraces the full spectrum of this human experience. Conflict is messy and surprising. It can be both challenging and heart-wrenching, yet it’s also filled with opportunities for growth and self-exploration. In our fast-paced, social media-driven, and often anxious world, it can be difficult to recognize and navigate these many facets of conflict.

Many people tend to avoid difficult or uncomfortable conversations, while others may fight fiercely to be heard or understood, sometimes seeking to dominate. While these responses can be helpful in certain moments, relying on them as default reactions does not serve us well in our complex, diverse, and ever-changing world.

Our responses to conflict are unique to each of us, shaped by our own lived experiences.

How can we slow down and approach conflict in  a way that builds strength, confidence, and agency? How do we break down the walls of suspicion and self-protection that often arise during conflict, allowing us instead to listen, empathize, and truly understand others, especially those we disagree with?

At Conflict Revolution, this is our mission. Through mediation, facilitation, and workshops, we support individuals in exploring, understanding, and enhancing their own capacities in conflict. Equally important, we help people practice skills to better hear and understand others—building the “muscle” of empathy and understanding that transforms conflict interactions.

At Conflict Revolution our purpose is

"to bring clarity, understanding, and strength to how we view ourselves and others in conflict, so we are better equipped to address present and future challenges and opportunities at the individual, community, and global levels."

"At Conflict Revolution, I believe it is critical to understand our commonalities, but even more revolutionary, is when we can clearly see our differences. Finding clarity, where you and others may stand on an issue brings strength and agency to make decisions that truly represent you."
