Coaching

With my  background as a coach and a huge fan of agency, I am keenly aware that, ‘you know yourself best’.  As I  support you with one-on-one coaching, I am here to remind you of your own  'knowing' and to create a place to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions.  From there, you can build confidence and self determination so you can make the decision that suits you best.

Mediation

I believe each person has the ability and strength to get through conflict. At the same time, conflict can be messy. When you are in mediation, I offer support as you navigate the conflict and move through the clutter to reveal clarity. Regardless of the decision, I ensure that voice and choice of the parties involved is pivotal to the mediation.

Facilitation

I create supportive environments where groups and teams can engage in the conversations that matter most. My facilitation strengthens communication and listening, supports deeper understanding, and helps groups stay focused on clarifying critical issues—especially in complex or high-stakes situations.

I attend not only to what is being discussed, but to how people interact. This includes supporting participants to feel heard and understood, which in turn supports more thoughtful and effective decision-making. When tension arises, as it often does when people are working through important or challenging issues, I work with it as a natural part of dialogue and help groups navigate it constructively.

Each facilitation process is co-designed in partnership with the group and reflects its values, goals, and unique context. This inclusive, collaborative approach helps groups build clarity, strengthen relationships, and make collective decisions that can hold both shared interests and meaningful differences.

CONFLICT workshop

When we disagree with others and it causes friction, frustration and separation, what do we do? How do we discuss issues that are important with the one's we care about the most? What role do strong emotions and trauma play in our conflicts? How do we stay grounded and connected when all we want to do is run or fight? And how do we discover opportunities within these difficult conversations that can strengthen our connections and relationships with others?

Through storytelling, large and small group discussion and skill building sessions this workshop will help prepare you to approach difficult  conversations and conflict with more strength, clarity, empathy and choice.

*Personalized group conflict workshops touching on a variety of issues are available upon request* .

Workshops range between 3 hours and 2 day.

"I liked that Julie's focus was on personal awareness in conflict resolution and not on changing the other person's mind or coming to some sort of compromise."
